Gerne mal ausprobieren. Ich kann HTML-Seite erstellen oder diese in Textbereichen einbetten.

Mal schauen ... noch nicht ganz optimal vielleicht, aber schon mal ein Anfang.

  12. whenever I have enough free time I have a fuzzy plan to migrate as much of my online "content" as fits into a plaintext BBS. One under my own private control and hosting, and accessible via ssh.

I'll still maintain a Fediverse presence and have footprints on GitHub, Codeberg etc.

But anything that is effectively just text will have my BBS as its master host. (Video, images, audio the obvious outliers.) Prob a distributed/decen cluster, for sake of redundancy and load balancing.

Much of the modern WWW has gone to shit. I'm gonna vote with my feet. Be the change I wish to see in the world, etc.

  14. Oh, and I also completed my reverse engineering project of a 8051-derived CPU core, used by Siemens in their . Because that's what I do with my free time, apparently. No other use except educational, really, and all the products using this particular implementation have been out of use for at least a decade now. But it was good practice on reading CMOS.

  15. CW: Trans healthcare, suicide mention

    RECLAIM Daily, 9 Oct

The US wants the Supreme Court to let federal prisons stop hormone therapy for almost 1,000 trans people. Security is one of its two reasons.

The prisoners' answer: the Bureau has given this care since at least 1992 and "has not pointed to a single security incident".

"Thirty years of prison hormone care, and the government can't name one incident."

  16. Big update on the quantum playground. It now contains a sandbox where you can create your own quantum circuit in javascript !

    kissyagni.com/the-quantum-play

Everything is executed locally. No backend, no data, no spyware, no AI. Just you and your brain.

It doesn't scale a lot. Maybe a dozen of gates and qubits but it is not its goal. Goal is to let Beginners (like me) wrote small quantum circuit and have live update.

In the future, I will add tools to inspect quantum state through the circuit.

Everything is based on quantum-ts and quantum-ng libs available here:

    - codeberg.org/KissYagni/quantum
    - codeberg.org/KissYagni/quantum

The playground application code is available here:

  17. Finally managed to get the keybind system working

Hopefully this is the last time I have to implement the backend for this - I’m going to reuse the code for this from now on. (The display, however, could definitely use some work.)

You don’t have to go through the same ordeal. Get the source code from my Codeberg repo - it’s MIT licensed and GenAI-free.

  18. 📢 Five days. On Tuesday 13 Oct, federal Medicaid stops paying for blockers, hormones and surgery for trans youth.

The rule itself says states can pay with their own money. New York, Oregon and Vermont say they will. Virginia said no.

In WA, CT, RI, IL, MN, CO, NJ, DE or DC? Ask your governor before Tuesday: will you pay, and say so publicly?

  19. CW: Disinformation, school shooting

Pre-Bunk: the flag in the evidence photo

A Tumbler Ridge court-filing photo shows a trans-flag sticker on a weapon. It's shared as if it explains the killing.

The technique: symbol as motive, built on a true detail. The sticker is real. The conclusion never gets checked. Authorities say there's no sign of a shared ideology.

Share the base rate, not the photo.

  20. CW: School shooting, deaths of children

Authorities say both people in the Tumbler Ridge case are trans. That's not in dispute. "Yet again" is.

"Half a percent of US mass shootings in one big database were by trans people. You remember this case because it's the one they keep showing you."

Eight people died, six of them kids.

Don't quote-post the evidence photo. Text a trans friend instead.

  21. I recently bough an , a Era Lite. As the default software does not ship with an OPDS manager I wrote one on my own in . Such a joy! 🫧 Help me improving it!

No, I do not want to use 😉

I found a couple of existing solutions, that did not work very well. No proper integration with Pocketreaders libinkview to get native look 'n feel, way to slow for HTTP requests, no integration of auto-update your library... and more.

    👨‍💻
Zigs cross-compiling is insanely good. No complicated setup of Docker containers and build tools to get the target environment. The build system shipped with Zig just works great.

  22. Got my pants repaired at a local repair cafe. Such lovely (and old) people there. The old woman at the sewing machine told me that "If we helped each other just a bit, we wouldn't have as many problems as we have now" and even if it sounds naive, I do agree with it.
