Thoughts on the new #Mastodon web user interface? I'd make some very minor tweaks but overall I'm digging it. I wonder though if it will come with account switching, that would be enough for me to consider ditching Elk.zone as my Mastodon web interface.

I wasn’t much active in DCB discussions intentionally. I’m not against DCB; I don't mind that many people like it; I just see it differently. I'm also not the person who tells others how to live, so I'm fine with having a different opinion.
Still, as Emmett users are asking me, then I cannot handwave it. My current conclusion is that DCB, compared to other modelling and technical solutions, it doesn't add enough benefit, and it's tricky enough to implement in a general tool that I'm postponing for later.
Later, when I finish stuff like multi-stream appends, lifecycle improvements (archiving, closing the books, etc.), resiliency, etc.

In The New Thing, Kris would read everyone's mind without much judgement. He's curious. Flo wouldn't bother. She reads auras and that's enough. Oscar is content knowing what he knows.
