"Nestor Ivanovych Makhno (1888–1934) was a pivotal figure in the Russian Civil War, leading the Makhnovshchina, a peasant anarchist movement in southern Ukraine from 1918 to 1921. ما امروزه نام اولین روز هفته را «شنبه» تلفظ میکنیم، اما در قدیم «شنبَد» تلفظ میشده.

برای مثال کلمهٔ «مداد» در قدیم بهمعنی «مُرکّب نوشتن» بوده، اما امروزه معنی آن متحول شده و بهمعنی وسیلهای است که با آن مینویسند. -
زمانهٔ ما وقتی از چیزی خیلی به خنده میافتادیم میگفتیم:

از خنده منفجر شدم و... .حالا نسل جدید برای خنده که سهل است، برای بیان تمام احساسات خود تقریباً یک عبارت بیشتر ندارد:

قبلاً وقتی خانمی موهایش را پسرانه کوتاه میکرد، میگفتند موهایش را آلاگارسونی زده.
این کلمه که #فرانسوی است، در لغت یعنی پسرانه.الان دیگر خیلی کم میشنوم که این کلمه را به کار ببرند.
