  5. The mighty Delaware is an impressive river no matter where you catch it. We were on Rte. 80 in the Poconos, on the way to Pittsburgh on a rainy day when we crossed it and took this quick snap. Acrylic on MDF board, 10" × 8" #art #artSky #fineArt #acrylic #landscapeArt #DelawareRiver #Poconos

  12. With the #drought, will Washington cross the Delaware this year?

“Night, sleet, snow, winds and freezing temperatures couldn’t keep the Continental Army from crossing the Delaware River on Christmas night 1776. But the drought of 2024 may keep volunteers from reenacting the famous and popular event.”

  15. The River - what it takes to make a photograph. Sometimes, it's a fair amount of work to get going. Here at Milford Beach, preparing to set off on a cold March day and the resulting image.

  16. One of my favorite photographers is Sam Abell. I especially love his series on canoeing. So I set out with my husband on a seriously cold March day to canoe the Delaware River here in Milford, PA. There was a serious wind and we didn't get very far, but it was a memorable experience. pixels.com/featured/canoeing-r
