you nail it, its foolishly easy to game the needy as there is no right to food in the constitution because apparently after the natives bailed out the hungry mayflower bunch etal the founders' forgot all about how important it is not to starve. doc desperately needs a re-write so make the wakeup call for six am please, thanks.

Most of the problems in the U.S. Constitution have been remedied.
A #ConstitutionalConvention will only produce a worse document b/c the wealthy have enough money to bribe pretty much anyone who attends it.
Better to address the undemocratic, racist and misogynistic elements by amendments, which require a massive voter turn out that has yet to happen in our history.
If enough of us turn out & vote, the six SCOTUS Justices that voted to give Presidents immunity could be impeached.

It’s time for state legislatures to call for a Constitutional Convention to propose an amendment to temporarily reduce the pay of federal legislators to $0, with NO repayment of back pay, during a government shutdown. The House and Senate should be forced to remain in continuous session, barred from recess, until the shutdown is resolved.
Maybe that would teach them to get their shit together and stop fucking with the American people.
