I don't know how it is now, but back in 2013, there was a street on Heimaey island in Iceland with colourful fishes painted on it that would lead you to the harbour.

The kitchen window of the farmhouse we rented for three nights a couple of years ago, just outside Hellesylt, Norway. Too bad I couldn't get the view of the towering mountains all around the house within the window frame.

We're about a month away from the start of the puffin season in Iceland. Hopefully most of them survived the rough seas during the winter. I know some didn't. 😢

No Spring flowers to be seen where I live right now so I'm just dreaming of them while browsing the flower photos I took in Iceland last May. There was an amazing field of wildflowers in front of the cottage we were staying at in Hvalfjörður. I took this photo through the living room window.

A view of one of the beautiful beaches on Achill Island in Co. Mayo, Ireland. The first time we went up to the lookout, we couldn't see anything due to fog. Went back just before sunset and was treated to this view. I love Achill Island.

Sohlbergplassen in Rondane national park, Norway was one of my favourite stops on our Norway road trip. Later, at the National Museum in Oslo, we saw Harald Sohlberg’s famous painting “Winter’s Night in Rondane” from 1914 that depicts this view.
