Sohlbergplassen in Rondane national park, Norway was one of my favourite stops on our Norway road trip. Later, at the National Museum in Oslo, we saw Harald Sohlberg’s famous painting “Winter’s Night in Rondane” from 1914 that depicts this view.

Sohlbergplassen is my favourite viewing point in Rondane, which is Norway's oldest national park. I liked it so much we had to stop there twice!

There was a restaurant nearby where they serve a delicious all-you-can-eat Sunday buffet. It was not a fancy restaurant but the buffet was our biggest splurge this trip.
