Falls ihr noch ein Script sucht, was nen Kioskmodus mit VNC-Server auf nem Debian-System aufsetzt:
https://codeberg.org/alsternerd/Debian-Kiosk-VNC/src/branch/main/kiosk.sh
Der VNC-Part ist noch was hakelig und auch das Einbringen der Bildschirmtastatur als Firefox-AddOn ist verbesserungswürdig.
Aber nehmt ruhig.

To TestFlight/F-Droid users for feedback, please open issues on #Codeberg: https://codeberg.org/tom79/Holos-App/issues (signup is possible with a GitHub or GitLab account). It allows replies, follow-up and avoids duplicates. Give as many details as possible. Thanks.

@Codeberg now provides a #gitpages instance that can be used to deploy your website.
I already moved my main blog to it and will eventually move other things too...
I also made a blog post that explains how you can deploy using the @forgejo Action workflow for it:

So today I found this cool project on Codeberg and wanted to share it with you!
https://codeberg.org/robida/human.json
It is meant to build a web of people confirming they are human, so you can have a root of trust that extends! In this age where many just post AI slop, this is great!
That is why I also implemented it already on my blog, which is hosted on Codeberg pages! -
Hello @badge @emf,
It seems something has been merged [1] but is either not complete or not documented [2].
So, here is my questions: Is it possible to publish a Tildagon app on #Codeberg and then install/update it directly from the badge itself over WiFi?[1] https://github.com/emfcamp/badge-2024-app-store/pull/56

I need to write to the author and see if there's any chance he wants to support Codeberg more directly, but for now I've cloned the openrsync repository into my Codeberg space:
https://codeberg.org/ChibaPet/openrsync
I'll try to stay on top of updates. This will be an unmodified copy, but as with any code, be careful what you trust.

So... I managed to put together some hacky scripts and get out of my dependency on GitHub Pages, I can now publish my stuff elsewhere... now I want to slowly move repos to #codeberg
I'm still thinking on how to preserve the huge number of images from sketch-a-day without burdening the codeberg repo...
Also, I think I want to move my open teaching materials (material-aulas) from this precarious markdown rendering script to something clever and robust like #zensical -

I've now moved another 31 repositories from GitHub to Codeberg since yesterday... I think I'm going to take a break. I have 144 repos total on GitHub; at least many of them are just forks of other projects, but this is still a lot to go through. 😹

My impression about Codeberg and Forgejo after the first few weeks of usage is very positive.
Besides usage of Codeberg I also test to use Forgejo instead of a Gitlab instance for my local needs both personal and business. The aspect of being so lightweight is a key feature for small setups.

Anyone having trouble accessing with their private Codeberg repos with existing access tokens (repo: read and write permissions)? Just starting failing for me some time in the last 24 hrs. Thanks!
Update: I think it's Indiekit gitea-store having trouble... I tested a new Codeberg access token with added user permissions and it works in curl (https://codeberg.org/api/swagger#/repository/repoCreateFile).

I know I'm late on getting some of my repos off GitHub, but at least I'm finally getting it done.
In the meantime, here's a little something for anyone else migrating to Codeberg: https://img.shields.io/badge/moved_to-Codeberg-%232185D0?logo=codeberg&logoColor=white
