#Ai has many problems, but like any technology, it has many benefits.
One of which, and it will become more apparent as time passed, is #assistedliving

In my lived experience, my cognitive power are fading.
I am getting dumber. I know this.
In 20 years time, if I live that long, I will struggle to make a coherent sentence.
I've seen my future in my oldies.
AI allows me to create work that I was not able to create since my 30s-40s.
And it is creative work, because you guide the machine as you guide a lathe or a chisel.

I can no longer pull a 3 day long crunch session fueled by coffee and ambition.
I can no longer master a new framework or tool, because it takes me a very long time and is very hard.

The young(er) Butlerian jihadists lack empathy and world experience.
Not everyone is driving a cognitive Maseratti.
Some of us are driving mopeds (or face other challenges as OP does)

Is an ableist, unemphatic, elitist take, that is more telling on them, than it is on you.

BUT a few flaws about Governments:

- Governments exist to #war on their people (profit / over-power them) and sometimes to over-power others in other countries by providing them free #tech etc. #USPol

- Never think Governments are going #save people or do things with the logic you assume towards #liberty / #sovereign tech etc (unless it's #money and #power in that #logic and sense).

The next good revolution is not with Governments but individuals together.

In at least 14 states, "Bonds for the Win" activists attempted to serve #sham #paperwork to school districts, in several cases causing commotions that required police intervention.

And the number of people joining their cause is quickly growing as misinformation about the strategy’s effectiveness circulates.

On the chat app Telegram, where the activists organize, Bonds for the Win’s main channel grew from 700 subscribers to nearly 20,000 in the past month. Its members focus on #schools, but they have also served paperwork to a handful of #county #commissioners and discussed plans to go after other local officials, #judges and #sheriffs with similar claims.

Bonds for the Win is using these battles as a way of drawing in followers, demonstrating how quickly a faulty fringe tactic can generate momentum as frustrated parents join forces with conspiracy theorists.
