Has anyone tried Pixelmator? What do folks think?
-
While I think paying a subscription for this is kinda terrible, I do like the idea of using it for a month and then buying individual licences.
I really want to try Pixelmator Pro, but gotta wait until the end of January until it's available as part of that trial. Don't want to waste £50 on it until I've tried it.

I've moved onto looking at our very old and very janky set up of mocking SQS queues. In my defence, i did write this like 4 years ago when I was new to SQS. Now i think there are much nicer ways than spinning up a container.
Most notably, the ElasticMQ in memory queue:
https://github.com/softwaremill/elasticmqAs it's compatible with SQS Rest, you can use JMS and the standard SQS libraries for testing. MUCH nicer than a Docker container.

I've been a big fan of #LaunchDarkly for a while, but it is slowly heading in the direction of... Well enshittifcation i think is too strong a term, as it's still a solid product.
But it's so OTT / bloated when all i _really_ need is simple software switches! -

I know I'm not a huge fan of change, but the new #LaunchDarkly interface is just awful. It took both me and a product owner a good while to figure out how to configure a switch.
24 hours ago, it was an instant and obvious process. -
