UAT has been overall a success for the UI team. Feeling good that all the work we put in ahead of time is paying off. The longer days through the sprints made this last two weeks a little quicker and gave us more time to update documentation and clean up the code a little bit. Absolutely love a day when I fix a bug in a matter of minutes and get to work on new features. Planning future features and getting to work on those is a boost to my mental health for sure. Fixing bugs just mentally drains me with all the testing against edge cases to ensure the bug fix doesn’t create new bugs. Just taxing mentally for me.

Been struggling with figuring out a portal issue in Servicenow. Created a new page and pulled all widgets in from an OOB page that are “needed” for a new feature. For some reason, the page isn’t getting the correct data, also there is magical template somewhere that handles the layout of some of the widgets and I for the life of me can’t find it. Going to be a rough week finishing bugs and dealing with this mess. #servicenow #portaldev
