#SlowHorses on AppleTV is a love story to Donald Cammell and Nick Roeg’s masterpiece #Performance ( #MickJagger, #JamesFox & #AnitaPallenberg).
Performance is about the seedy 1960s London underworld, & explores themes of identity & deception. Slow Horses flirts with the same soggy backstreets, & regularly features a shot framing a vehicle from above, splitting the screen in two - taken directly from the intro of Performance.
Jagger singing the theme song completes the homage.
