I'm looking for some advice. I have a #Proxmox install with a ZFS pool mounted at `/tank` and my #Nextcloud data at `/tank/nextcloud`
I currently have a non-Docker version of Nextcloud running in an LXC container but it has... issues.
I'm thinking of running the Docker AIO image but I every time I try to pass through the `/tank/nextcloud` directory to a VM via #VirtioFS, it ends up causing the host kernel to panic.
Is there another way to do this?

Does anybody of you already integrate #Mallow and #NextCloud „a bit more than Social Login (OAuth)“?
I’d like to know if someone relies on NextCloud`s #Mail and #Calendar apps and would like to share some hints of the setup.
The setup is planned for a village community and maybe for a sports-club, trying to circumvent the usual m365-foo.
Current state: completed https://docs.mailcow.email/third_party/nextcloud/third_party-nextcloud/
Next steps: try to get „unified“ calendar and mail-access working in NextCloud AiO

@deljones Hi Del thanks for your help, well what I'm curious about is how to ensure the instance can scale and support a large amount of users, especially for video calls. I've been running 2 #Nextcloud instances for years using #Hetzner Storage Share in combination with an #OnlyOffice instance run through #Yunohost. It works great but for calls involving 3+ participants a High Performance Backend is required. Is that something you've used yourself?
The 3 options I picture are:
- using Nextcloud AIO on a good VPS.
- installing NextCloud through Yunohost or #Cloudron and link to a separate HPB server.
- same as previous but with Hetzner storage share. -
Looking for tips regarding #nextcloud installation technique: I've tried using the All in one solution which works great, but also through systems like #cloudron or #yunohost that handle the technical aspects.
What I love with those systems is that it's easy to add other apps on the server beside Nextcloud.
But #nextcloud_all_in_one offers interesting features like antivirus and High performance backend for Nextcloud Files and Talk..
I know it's possible to set up a HPB on another server and connect it to the Nextcloud instance, but it seems easier to just use Nextcloud AIO and be done with it.I'd love to hear some feedback from Nextcloud users, thanks!

Kylppärin suunnilleen sata-asteisena posottava pyyhekuivain, jota ei saa pois päältä (huoltomieskin yrittänyt), on näillä saatanallisilla (anteeksi, mutta kyllä) helteillä erittäin miellyttävä lisävaruste. Ja jos olot ei edelleenkään ole riittävän helvetilliset, kannattaa varata pesutupa puoleksi päiväksi (työt alkavat ensi viikolla, joten no can do). En ikinä enää (lue: ainakaan kahteen viikkoon) aio valittaa sateesta ja 15c lämmöistä. #kesä #helle #riittääjo
