  1. #SilverStone FLP02 Review: #Retro #PCCase

This seems to be a bit extreme choice as it is expensive. The fake floppy covers not being an automatic opening things is a problem as likely you’d need a new optical drive in beige instead of the likely black one you might have.

PC market’s shrunk a lot and I’m not a fan of stupid lighting or ridiculous number of fans taken over the front panel, not to mention that old cases with ODD lack USB-C, but it’d be better in black.

  4. Big "I want a #flp02 but there's no way I'm spending USD250 for a case" energy

The base chassis is a Gamemax Titan Silent. The intake bezel and top panel are 3D-printed. The side trim is stripwood (should have used plastic stock). The display module is a Digole serial unit, being fed system stats with custom code. A sticker covers the original top-mounted port openings.

  8. Dù đang sở hữu GPU NVIDIA RTX 6000 Pro Blackwell mạnh mẽ (thay RTX 4090), bạn cần PC case phù hợp. Hiện tại đang dùng case 4000D, cân nhắc Fractal Torrent/7 XL. Nỗi lo: gắn waterblock có thể vô hiệu hóa bảo hành, ưu tiên tản nhiệt hơn thiết kế. Hệ thống gồm CPU Intel Ultra 9 285K (có thể chuyển sang Epyc), mainboard MSI Z980, 128GB RAM. Giữ AIO 360mm hoặc chuyển sang custom loop nếu cần.

  13. Spent some time testing different power setups for my #misterfpga off an #ATLANTISforMiSTer prototype ITX adapter board.

In this embodiment, I’ve got the #ATX +5vsb 3.0A running via a Pololu 2808 module to power the system and utilise any PC case momentary switch.

Using a DC jack input for power on the #ATLANTIS is simpler because less soldering required but if the PC case already has an ATX or SFF supply then the +5V standby is handy.

Of course, if you had the desire you could build a small latching circuit on the solderable breadboard part of the ATLANTIS board and utilise all voltage outputs from the #ATX breakout area for fans, mood lighting etc.
