Heya R devs - did you know you can run all your favorite GitHub actions on Codeberg?
Codeberg is rolling out Forgejo actions - an (almost) drop-in replacement for GitHub actions, which means we can (almost) use `r-lib/actions` directly on a free and open source platform!
Just a couple tweaks are needed, and for your convenience I'm automatically mirroring r-lib/actions and applying those changes so they're ready to use.

New project: mosscap. I needed a small tool to automate certain shell tasks with a simple easy to use configuration system. I didn't find one that suited me, so I made my own.
Miss so turns out to be pretty, powerful and flexible. You can parallelize tasks, have comprehensive logging, interactive abort between actions etc.
Try it out: https://codeberg.org/scip/mosscap

Off to new shores
Now that I dropped Pure Blog from the list of projects to pursue as it is too limited for my purpose, I started to have a closer look at Hugo for a blog on webspace I own.
Perhaps with something like Pages CMS on top of a Git-/repository-based workflow - for convenience.
But I would prefer to have some non-US non-profit alternative for GitHub. And Codeberg (Forgejo) e.g. is exactly that.
There are options.
But I am grateful for more proposals how to bring this to life.

Are you using #Debian #PHP FPM?
The hardened tmp directory systemd configuration could break your Drupal site if some external process such as #ClamAV needs to read temporary uploaded files.
Upstream issue with workaround: https://codeberg.org/oerdnj/deb.sury.org/issues/102#issuecomment-14941677

It's funny that I didn't think to create this shell script until now:
https://codeberg.org/rldane/scripts/src/branch/main/spongebobI initially was trying to write it in #POSIX #shell without any external dependencies (for speed), but the lack of
${var^}and${var,}mean HUGE case statements, but I could generate those in bash and paste them in, lol. Then I came to the lack of
${var:i:1}for splitting variables, and I just kind of gave up.I guess I could have munged some way of converting a string into an array somehow, but it was so much easier to just write it in 23 lines of bash. :P

Would you like to contribute something easy to a little project?
My game-devices-udev is missing out some udev-rules already in steam-devices. This would be a good chance to kill some time and do some MR :D (and even learn git, markdown, udev in the process!)
