I've been traveling in the UK these past 2 weeks, so I thought I'd miss the latest Disquiet Junto prompt. But inspiration struck at a kitchen table in Manchester & there was no resisting it. I had no gear at all, not even a pair of decent headphones. Difficult constraint!
As I had to mix on laptop speakers, listening with or without headphones will be different experiences & I don't know which is "right”

Disquiet Junto 0657 was an invitation to compose a pice out of overlapping tones that start and stop suddenly. I did a mix of broken pads, then exported, reversed, and slowed down, before re-importing for an aural foundation. More layers of broken pads, a couple of glitchy leads.
Enjoy the stereophonic "Tails on Tones” with headphones or a good pair of stereo speakers.
