I am _very excited_ about my next release, "Source". The final dates are still being figured out, but this will be a Fediverse-first release, with one track going up on Bandwagon.fm every day for 8 days. To accompany each track, I'll post a little bit here about the instrumentation (so many vintage synths!) and any other little interesting bits.
I can't wait to share this with you all!

Fun fact: my new electronic album, "Source", will be the first I've ever released under my own name.
I'm in my least favorite part of the process right now: after final mixing, when I have to walk away from it for a week or two weeks so I can hear it with fresh ears and be certain.

One thing I love about analog synths vs digital (or especially software synths) is that when things go sideways, and they always go sideways, the result is almost always something delightful that you pray you were recording.
(Spoken from behind the console of a boutique Roland Juno, and yes I was recording when the up-to-that-point well-behaving LFO made everything go sideways in the most delightful way.)
