  7. All good things…
My last night on North Uist before the long journey home. A wonderful week of wild things in this beautiful place, only slightly dampened by a very nasty eye infection… But promptly dealt with by our amazing SNHS, Not ideal when it’s your camera eye!

  9. I tried to capture the strange light on the day I visited these standing stones in Uist, Scotland, oils on board. A partial success maybe, but it sold so someone is happy! I love painting archaeological landscapes. #StandingStones #Uist #Scotland

  16. Reflections. South Uist, 2021.

Uist has a lot of water and a lot of wind. Some days the wind stops, and on those days Uist has a lot of mirrors.

  17. A VIRTUAL TOUR OF SCOTLAND

We traverse North Uist from south to north and then cross another causeway, this time to the island of Berneray in the Sound of Harris. Berneray is a beguilingly attractive place, with settlement only on its eastern side. Its entire west coast forms an amazing three mile long beach of white sand.
