A VIRTUAL TOUR OF SCOTLAND
We cross the causeway north to South Uist. This is the second largest of the islands in the Western Isles, measuring some 22 miles north to south and 7 miles from east to west. Its geography is divided into north-south strips, from the beaches and machair of the west coast to the hills and mountains of the east. More pics and info https://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/southuist/southuist/index.html

Just entered "The Heb" adventure race for a weekend of: exploring the #outerhebrides (specifically, #northuist #benbecula and #southuist), good company, and exhaustion. 200km of varying terrain over two days. It's next September if that sounds like something you might enjoy.
Also, you get a discount for some Durty Brewing beer (brewed in the Borders) so what's not to like?
