Funny thing. A colleague asked me to help him write a script that fixes some old HTML content (around 8000 pages), to make it compatible with our flavor of richtext editor.

Turns out, it's less tiresome to ask llama3.3-70b #LLM to "pretty-please, fix this for me" than it is to write a #python #beautifulsoup script that covers all the cases.

Back with a conclusion. Maybe I got used to the #LazyVim LSP key shortcuts and configuration. In truth, I didn't bother to configure #AstroNvim too much. The killer downside to astro (for me) is the use of heirline, which would require too much effort on my part to configure to my liking.

So, I'm back to LazyVim. I'll have to do the homework and fix the LSP setup to work with "casual" packages, that have invalid tooling setup.

#Iggy_Pop is definitely my favourite of the classic rockstars still alive. Still relevant, still creative, with a lot to give and willing to share.

I'm giving #AstroNvim #neovim distro a try and I'm reminded, once again, by my woes with #NeoTree: not supporting ctrl+f / ctrl+b to page up/down is a cardinal sin.

I found it easier to take a neovim distribution (#LazyVim in my case, but I plan to test #AstroNvim ) and change that to suit my taste.

Today I've disabled #NeoTree and just hacked a #lua #NERDTree configuration. NeoTree came bundled with #LazyVim, but I find its defaults to be such a pain. The uppercase H key should always be "top of buffer", not "show hidden files". It doesn't have a good workflow for moving files. When I open it in a gitignored folder such as node_modules, it refused to show anything by default. The list of grievances is too big. I've tried to configure it to my liking, but I failed.
