The 2025 Trevor Levere Best Paper Prize goes to the team of the paper "The drop and the metric system: how an unruly unit survived revolutions"

A decade later stakeholders from Lower Saxony and Bremen take stock and reflect on what has (not) been achieved.
Interesting overview of the history and initiatives being mentioned. In terms of analysis it stuck with me in particular how much Germany stresses individual responsibility in areas such as tobacco, alcohol, nutrition and physical activity, and ignores contextual factors.
