When you buy a coffee ($2), a soup and toast ($7), or a full meal of their choosing, ($14) for a stranger, you get it at a discount and it's given out completely free.
As they say: "We know that this program doesn’t do anything to solve the larger issues around food insecurity in our city. But it is one small, meaningful way we can brighten someone’s day, offer dignity, and make sure a neighbour gets something warm and nourishing when they’re struggling."

Ellie and I just sat down to watch "Wicked: For Good" at Arnold Marcus Theater. We're trying to do a few activities a month one on one. I spent too many years working too many hours. Better to build a good relationship now then be ignored when she's an adult and on her own.

Sometimes I simply can't believe the incredible privilege it is for us to live with such wonderful creatures as our cats and Joni. I look at their characters, their physical beauty and their natural grace, and I feel the gentle affection and kindness they give us so freely.
Whatever did we do to deserve animals?They know what they want, too. Badger explained to me that she needs to eat each of her meals in front of the wood stove in the winter. Why not?

It's happy anniversary to us!
44 years married. Love him even more than I did back then!
I had a Eureka moment on the way to meet up with him to watch a movie 45 years ago. We had so much we enjoyed doing together: I suddenly realised that I could be happy in my life. That was a new concept to me and he made it come true.

My friends should be glad that we mask!
I was too sick to eat much yesterday (a bad flare that's lasted over a week now) and this morning I realised how strong our breath must smell of garlic! Steven did eat our usual, so I got a good chance to smell his unmasked breath.
So not only are we protecting ourselves from airborne diseases, we are also protecting everyone else from our garlic breath! Ha ha.
We're really loving our new Flow Mask Pros we got this week, especially with the halo strap. We got ours through @donatemask . It is super comfortable.
I'm looking forward to being well enough to go out and wear it!
