Our sharp eyed granddaughter spotted a #badger ambling past the French windows at our holiday cottage in #Fife this evening. We watched it wandering about the adjacent paddock for several minutes.
Last time I had seen a badger was over 20 years ago. Pretty special event. Now just hoping the #stoat we saw this morning passes by tomorrow morning!

Yesterday I glanced out my little kitchen window when a movement in the garden caught my eye, expecting one of our regular fox friends.. no.. not this time.. A BADGER!
An absolutely beautiful creature, headed resolutely for the still half full bowl of dried food in 'the fox bowl' and proceeded to scoff the lot. No photos I'm afraid as I wasn't going to risk alarming her/him, no way. I've never seen one in my life before! Classic black n white striped face and grey/silver body.

“No, it’s my carrot” - there is very definitely a pecking order. And whilst the one younger badger is a constant the companions differ. Also becoming apparent that there are several visits per night.
