Part of me says "Wow, that's cool" but a bigger part of me thinks this is an excuse to put a microphone in your TV and take the privacy implications of a smart TV to a whole new frightening level.

With AOL killing Dial Up Internet I was curious what still exists. I've found that there is over an estimated 160,000 people still using dial up in the US as their only connection (there are others using dial up as a fallback)

I honestly don't think CANBUS would exist if it was conceived in today's world. Manufacturers are doing a hell of job making it harder to access information from the car even with CANBUS (one of the many reasons I won't buy another Honda). -

As I understand it, consumers paid higher costs because the businesses passed the cost of tariffs on to those purchasing products but now the refunds are going to the people who passed that charge on to us and I'm guessing we don't see any of that.
