It's built on top of Wikidata APIs, with descriptions from Wikipedia. Nicely done! (I do wonder why it queries US data only... the information mapped by the multilingual Wikidata community is worldwide!)

Consumer of React Native realises 2011-era PhoneGap is all you need.
Decoupling from React in this way makes a lot of sense, they could even switch off React entirely in a future refactor whilst keeping RN as PhoneGap-like bridge. A win against vendor lock-in, that's for sure.

Taken at the #JeanTalon #market in #Montreal. Spotting these blow-up #Santas (there were 2) reminded me of "#Kringlewood" back home (the residential street in Toronto lined with inflatable Santas. They're joyful to see because they're so big & happy looking.
