  1. #GloriaSteinem, a #feminist icon, died yesterday. RIP. Here's a gift article for her obituary in The Atlantic magazine. I'll leave you with an instructive quote from the article about how girl culture is an insidious force controlling women's lives to their detriment, something Steinem herself was well aware of.

Needing approval, [Steinem] wrote, “is a female cultural disease, and often a sign of doing the wrong thing.”

  8. 😆 Oh look, The Atlantic took a break from overanalyzing global doom to pen a love letter to a metal bird that's finally learning to land! ✈️ Because clearly, discussing how the 747 retires is more riveting than their usual geopolitical navel-gazing. 🤷‍♂️

Durante il genocidio a Gaza, Abu Toha ha contribuito con articoli e poesie a importanti pubblicazioni internazionali come ‘The New Yorker’, ‘The Atlantic’ e ‘The New York Times Magazine’, offrendo testimonianze dirette delle atrocità vissute dalla popolazione civile.

Sharon Waxman about Laurene Powell "At a time when billionaire owners of cherished publications that hold government accountable are caving — The Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos and Los Angeles Times owner Patrick Soon-Shiong most prominently — Powell is standing behind her editor. " "But at moments like this, she deserves our praise and our gratitude. Our democracy needs superheroes like her to make it through." - thewrap.com/laurene-powell-job #TheAtlantic #Goldberg
