Spent way too much time getting tickets from Zürich to Verona. Trainline could handle all the reduction we have in Switzerland, but crashed when I actually tried to buy the ticket. Trenitalia has no clue what a Swiss reduction is. In the end, the SBB web-site worked, and turned out to be the cheapest.

Seen the other day, stopping at #Avignon 🇫🇷 TGV station: a #Trenitalia 🇮🇹 #Frecciarossa 1000 high speed train, on its way from #Paris to #Marseille. It’s got a 🇪🇺 sticker on its nose and, it seems, a very stylish and comfy interior.

Vandaag reizen we met de #trein van Italië naar Nederland en ik moet zeggen dat de service van #Trenitalia erg goed is. Ik kreeg een berichtje dat de trein die we hadden geboekt #vertraging had, op tijd om een trein eerder te boeken. Het omboeken ging zo makkelijk dat ik dacht dat het mislukte. #Complimenten voor Trenitalia!

Ended up paying full fare for a #crossborder ticket for a three year old because of course railway companies don’t have the same fare structure. I was told that I should have taken a reduction card that a 3 year old does not need in Switzerland to trigger the Italian system. At least 20€ down the drain.
