Im #EC64 #EuroCity von #Domodossola nach #Brig habe ich dank 1. Klasse Upgrade einen pragmatischen Türplatz ergattert. So bin ich als Premium Kunde als erster auf dem Bahnsteig.
Ausserdem erlaube ich mir einen Hinweis an meinen Schweizer Marktbegleiter: die #Klimaanlage im #Alstom #ETR610 funktioniert sehr viel besser als die im striegelnagelneuen Centopups.

Auf Trubel und Gewusel folgte Zuckel und Gemuckel. Also es hat mit dem Anschluss in #Brig natürlich nicht geklappt. Dafür gönne ich mir jetzt EW-IV Polster.

This is an #InterCity from #Basel, probably IC 331 “Val d’Ossola”, with the first six air-conditioned cars, provided by #FS #Trenitalia, going as far as #Milano 🇮🇹.

#Brig🇨🇭 to #Domodossola 🇮🇹 earlier today, via the #Simplon railway line on board a #BLS #RABe528 #Stadler #FLIRT “Mika” trainset. The unit comes with a #Bistro area, equipped with vending machines for snacks and drinks and a few tables, creating a sort of @diningcar atmosphere.

Good morning from the #SBB🇨🇭#InterCity to #Brig. The train comes with a #Bistro-style @diningcar, located at the ground floor of the bi-level carriage - a good place to enjoy #breakfast ☕️🥐 prepared by the lovely steward at the #buffet counter of the car.

Dusk at #Brig🇨🇭 station. The best seats on the #SBB #InterCity to #Bern and #Basel are the ones in the #elvetino @diningcar (which quickly filled with travellers after departure). A Swiss classic, Ghackets mit Hörnli, minced meat and macaroni, is always a good choice for dinner.

A short consist, just four cars including a @diningcar style service car, for this #GlacierExpress🇨🇭 to St. Moritz. A 1970s class Deh4/4 #MGB narrow-gauge unit, originally part of the #BVZ (for Brig-Visp-Zermatt) fleet, will work the train over the rack railway sections of the #Furka and #Oberalp line.

#Brig🇨🇭 station is where the #Lötschberg, #Simplon and #Rhône valley lines meet. Later today the St. Moritz to Zermatt #GlacierExpress will also stop here. This is a busy railway hub for both, standard and narrow gauge, passenger and freight.
