2/ OK. Hab's gebucht. War auch nicht so einfach. Immerhin war die ursprüngliche Planung einfach. Das ging mit #DB. Aber buchen konnte ich die Göteborg-Oslo-Voss-Strecke nicht. Auch meine üblichnen Verdächtigen wie #Trainline und #Omio wollten nicht. Manche kannten Voss nicht. Bei der Schwedischen Bahn habe ich rausgefunden, dass Göteborg-Oslo nicht von ihnen ist und nach einigem Suchen dann festgestellt, dass das #Vy ist und die haben dann auch Oslo-Voss gemacht. Lustig ist, dass der Zug nach Oslo fast ausgelastet ist. Nur noch ein paar Plätze in der ersten Klasse und die nehmen dann mal eben 90€ für die Platzreservierung. Wahrscheinlich findet man immer einen Platz, aber who knows.

En plus je peux compter sur #Trainline (chez qui j'ai acheté le billet) pour me rappeler que le départ est pour bientôt et qu'il ne faut pas oublier de prendre mes billets et mes pièces d'identité.👍🏻

Je souhaite pas particulièrement à tout un chacun d'être handi'e (paraît que ça se fait pas) mais je souhaite surtout à personne d'être handi'e ET d'avoir à faire avec le service client Trainline Business pour avoir les infos d'accessibilité

Ça fait une semaine que je me fais balader, on me prend pour une incapable de chercher mes billets, en me disant que l'option pmr est par défaut (???) alors que les places attribuées ne sont pas celles des places pmr (même pas les bonnes voitures)
Et bien sur pas de service client par téléphoné, tout se fait pas mail à grands coups de "email traduit par l'IA" pour arranger la communication

after a terminally terrible experience with #trainline website I was keen to find a better way to get from London to Birmingham and it turns out Chiltern Railways gets the thumbs up from this dude who did a seriously deep dive on the best rail provider between Birmingham and London. The 2024 prices are so low I almost fell off my seat.

Always look above the Price for a cheaper ticket option.
Trainline are pretty poor at showing you the actual cheapest price for the ticket.

It's not an insignificant price difference either!

Spent way too much time getting tickets from Zürich to Verona. Trainline could handle all the reduction we have in Switzerland, but crashed when I actually tried to buy the ticket. Trenitalia has no clue what a Swiss reduction is. In the end, the SBB web-site worked, and turned out to be the cheapest.

Voilà les billets #sncf du printemps ouverts. Pas de printemps sans #vélo. Tous les deux ans je me repose la même question. Quels sont vos meilleurs plans pour réserver du #trainvélo ? Que ce soit #sncfconnect #trainline ou @12train je ne trouve aucune visibilité sur les #TGV qui prennent les vélos, ni sur comment réserver en ligne.
Comment faites-vous ?
Je souhaite faire Lyon-Stuttgart avec mon vélo dans le train.

Trainline suck. They’ve changed their ticketing so that the Apple Wallet pass only has the start and end of the journey on it, and the date.

Previously they included the departure and arrival times, and seat reservation details.

A clumsy move to force people into using their app instead. Well sorry but it isn’t going to work. I’ve nothing but contempt for this behaviour.

Heute auf der Rückreise von Wakefield über London und Brüssel nach Köln. Der #LNER Zug gefällt mir viel besser als der #GrandCentral Hier kann ich zumindest arbeiten und die Sitze sind auch bequemer. Außerdem sind die Steckdosen besser positioniert.

In #Wakefield hat die nette Schaltet-Mitarbeiterin mein Ticket auf einen früheren Zug gebucht. Hat zwar 34£ gekostet, aber grob 20€ weniger als die Halsabschneider von #trainline dafür wollten und ich hab in London etwas mehr Puffer zum #EuroStar

Aus meiner Sicht ist #trainline ein shitty service mit einer shitty app und einem shitty prozess. Ich würde da nicht noch einmal ein zugticket kaufen. Wie sind eure Erfahrungen?

I'm trying to put together a December #train trip from France to Andalusia, and I'm feeling depressed too.

Half of the #trains in #Spain are not listed yet beyond mid-December, and even when they are, #TrainLine will occasionally refuse to make a 45-min connection between two (which they sell separately though) whereas the same connection is shown in November...

And then, there's the prices...

Trying to see if I can go to #Cosyne2026 from Glasgow by train. It is in Cascais which is near Lisbon. I can go to the south of France in train - Marseille, Toulouse, no problem. But there doesn't seem to be a way to go to Lisbon in train from anywhere in France, am I missing something??

#Trainline just suggests some horrible 20h bus ride..

The proposition of #Trainline used to be that their tickets were discounted over direct sales. Nowadays their tickets are the same price as over the counter AND they add an approximately 2% booking fee. Why does anyone buy from them any more? Is it just that their early marketing was so good that some people have ingrained habits and don't bother to check?

TIL: don't buy an open return in the #Trainline app. They will issue a day return instead but charge you for an open return. #Fraud #UKTrainTravel

Hey #TrainBubble and #MastoTrain friends, a couple of years ago I used the wonderful #NightTrain from #Munich to #Ljubliana but when I search now (for October) this connection is nowhere to be found. I tried #DB #SNCB #Trainline and #EUrail.

Dopo #Waze (ora uso la nederlandese #HereWeGo) ora tocca a #Moovit, che per qualche motivo mi dava l'idea di essere mega italiana.

Per i treni italiani uso #OrariTreni, installata con un apk vecchio perché purtroppo è stata acquisita e trasformata in una pubblicità da #Trainline
Per i bus vince ancora #GoogleMaps, ma alcune app locali sono ben fatte.

C'est moi ou #trainline est quasiment inutilisable ? (j'utiliserai totalement 12train si j'avais pas un bus un moment)
