Returned #jabra elites, spent a bit more and got #sennheiser cx and they work out of the box,as they should!

adding #jabra to my brand #shitlist. Bought a set of jabra elite earbuds only to find out they don't connect as standard bluetooth audio devices. They don't work on Linux or the Windows PC I tested them on.
Official support response is that they are only supported on Android or ios. How the fuck do you screw up implementing a standard like bluetooth audio?? I've had plantronics, sennheiser and aftershockz that litterally work on everything.

strangely if you search #startrekprodigy on #paramountplus (in my case as an addon to my #primevideo subscription) - episodes s1e03 and 04 are available and play fine.
I'm guessing its a mistake, but would be cool if they were perhaps rolling back the removal and keeping #season2 on p+

@scrivolical I go #startrek but its usually more obscure than calling my box/wifi/container #picard, enterprise or something. I choose things from beta canon or ship classes, particle names etc. Many of which people wouldn't link to Star Trek

Finally got the 8yo branching out on more interesting dinners. We did tacos tonight, but the 5yo is clearly not ready for things to have flavour.
Melt downs ensued. Can never have them both happy at the same time.

did some #joycon surgery this morning and replaced the thumbsticks with hall effect replacements on the kids switch, as it had developed permanent drift.
Damn those ribbon cables are fiddly, but once you work it out, its easy! Cheaper than new joycons too!
