@masek Als #PatientGamer dazu noch mit leichter Sehschwäche verstehe ich eh nicht, was dieser Wahn, alle neueren Spiele unbedingt in 4K, dann 8K, dann 16K und mit noch mehr Details auf 150GB herauszubringen soll. Als wenn bessere Grafik was an der miesen Story verbessert.

Insofern habe ich einen riesigen Katalog an Spielen der letzten 20 Jahre, die ich Stück für Stück auf meinem #SteamDeck ausprobiere. Mir egal, was der Grafikkarten-Markt macht.

@2du @pursuit depends what you need the Mac side for - I only need it for Qlab and Isadora (& a bit of #patientgamer $5 Steam Sale now and then, ETS2 anyone?), everything else happens on #AsahiLinux ; We just spent the evening here tweaking the teaser for our next show, #kdenlive + #audacity... Decent rendering times. It's not bad hardware, tho far from as jaw-dropping as the hype made them.

Since 2016 I've been using an #AMD R9 290x I bought used from a colleague on my gaming PC. It's finally showing its age, as I have to switch games to DX11 and e.g. #WitchIt is complaining that the drivers - which don't get updates anymore - don't support the game's features properly. Well, 10 years is not bad for a GPU. It would have been unthinkable some time ago. #PatientGamer style pays off.

Someone in Finland sell me a cheap AMD GPU, please. :P I'm looking at 6750 XT, but 400 € is still a bit much when I have plenty of other money sinks too.

Dzisiaj skończyłem Saints Row(2022) i... W sumie dobrze się bawiłem. Ten "gwóźdź do trumny Volition" wcale nie był tak zły, jednak zaznaczam, że grałem w to dopiero po ostatnim patchu, więc nie wiem jak to wszystko działało do tej pory, na premierę i generalnie wcześniej niż 1.09.2023.

Trochę brakowało mi Genkiego, jednakże Doc Ketchum's Murder Circus może nie tak odjechany, ale solidnie zastąpił mi to, co dawały mi te dziwne programy szczerzącego się kocura. Fabuła? Jak to w SR, krótka, pełna gagów i głupotek. Minusem jednak jest to, że końcówka bardzo goni z tematem, bo jak na początku robimy pierdoły zanim dojdziemy do kluczowego momentu, tak w sumie ostatnie dwa akty tworzą wrażenie, że coś pomiędzy nimi było, ale zostało wycięte, ciekawe tylko co... Technicznie? Solidne klatki na ultra, jednakże z jakiegoś dziwnego powodu na ustawieniu innym niż ekskluzywny fullscreen gra dawała pokaz slajdów.

Podsumowując, gra znośna, a trochę mi brakowało tego absurdu z poprzedniej części. Fajny klimat, muzyka bardzo przyjemna, szczególnie stacja z synthpopem. Jednakże mojej ukochanej, podkręconej do 15 SR4 nie dorasta do pięt.

A to w mojej opinii lista Saints Row od najlepszej do najgorszej.

An oldie, but didn't have it on my computer(s) yet.

Played the #tabletop #boardgames back when it was new, and the #Apple2 version when it came out.

Since I'm a bit of a #patientgamer I think the wait paid off. #Steam has it for 90% off and it works on my current #apple #MacbookPro as well as my #windows desktop

How could I refuse? Would have been neat if it was DRM free on GOG...

I don't get much time to game, so I still have dozens of games on my Switch that I want to eventually buy and play, and they're not going to be getting any worse. I'm a #patientgamer and usually enjoy getting the 2nd newest system that has a full library of games already released, often (rarely in Nintendo's case) even on sale. I've been current-gen with Switch just because after it had been out for a year it was clear that getting a Wii U would be a waste of money. Wii U game prices weren't coming down, and I knew most of its good games would be ported to Switch (ended up being even more than I would have guessed).

To my shame, I have to admit that I never played #FinalFantasy XIII - until yesterday. Despite its flaws, lengthy tutorial segment, and technical caveats, it's amazing on #SteamDeck (locked to 30 fps, 4h of battery life)... Such an emotional rollercoaster. Better late than never!
