My partner in Pokémon is out today, so let's take a quick diversion into a recently released Doom mapset, #YouBrokeMe. This mapset, from what I can tell, seems to employ some ZDoom fuckery in a way we probably haven't seen since #MyHouse.
I will preface this all though with a bit of a Content/Trigger Warning, as the mapset was a way for the developer to process one of the worst times in their life, and thus this mapset will likely deal with difficult themes and is very personal to them and their experiences. If you're not here for that or are unable to handle such things, we'll catch you next time!

When I looked at the #HouseOfLeaves hashtag someone linked to a video about “myhouse.wad”, a YouTube play through of a mysterious doom map.
I sent it to my friend who gave me the book, but didn’t watch it then.
I didn’t realize it was a movie length masterpiece. Seriously, this thing took a long time to make.
It reminds me of an actual terrifying experience I had playing a doom mod back in the day.

Je ne sais pas si vous avez le temps et l'envie de regarder 1h42 de vidéo sur un *niveau custom pour #Doom 2* mais franchement ça vaut le coup d'œil.
En dépit du titre, je suis pas sûr que ça soit vraiment "terrifiant", mais c'est quand même quelque chose d'assez stupéfiant.

I started to try the now famous #MyHouse wad for #Doom2 / #gzdoom and wow, what an amazing piece of work.

the hype about #myHouse (the #Doom wad) made me think about an idea for some #4D fuckery i had for a while. i call it #tessertopia, and i think the idea could be implemented as a Doom map with many, many portals.
now i need a map editor that supports portals. my Ubuntu repos have an editor called Eureka. anyone here got experience with that?
