Shaved some time off my route and got quite a bit further before I had to walk. Every day there is a leeeeeetle bit of progress. Not as much as I’d like, but I am a size 20 and I’m 49 in two weeks so it’s not going to be easy. It’s a sunny Easter Saturday here, I’m going to walk into town later and buy some freekeh to make a grain salad, they sell it by weight at the plastic-free shop, I just have to remember to take my own jar to fill #running #RaceForLife

Good morning, I had a long, deep sleep and dreamed that #MissCinnamon could speak English. She was asking me worriedly whether someone called Claire would be coming round (IDK a Claire). Going into the office to try to undertake a focus group with clients - I say try, they’re a chaotic bunch and last time it didn’t work out. Fingers crossed they’re amenable today! Just did a little ten minute shadow box workout, my first go of my free trial of the #peloton app. It was enough to get me breathy and in combination with my super brisk walk earlier I closed my exercise ring. I plan to do a live walk and a live run tomorrow, hopefully it will be fun #running #RaceForLife #training #fitness

Enquired about another #PhD project. This one’s a #ParticipantObservation study in a prison. I need to find out which prison and how doable it is. I love #ethnography! And it ties in with my interests in reintegration into the community after a prison sentence. I’ll see what the supervisor says #criminology

I’ve only just started but it begins with the protagonist, a suburban Australian housewife, discovering an envelope with her husband’s handwriting on it. It says “For my wife - to be opened in the event of my death.” I left her agonising over whether to open it or not. What would you do? I went for a swim - OK, a bob-about-on-a-flotation device - and had the pool to myself. It was so peaceful, just bobbing and looking at the sky and the green coconuts and bananas growing on the trees. A small bird flew so low over the pool that it almost skimmed my head. Then the sun dipped below the roof and I felt chilly, so I got out and into a hot bath, where Tom brought me a non-alcoholic tropical punch #Holiday #vacation #LivingMyBestLife #SaintLucia
