draft - why doesn't neowin.net have an edit button
I thought neowin could sorta be my way to post stuff instead of on reddit, on a more traditional forum. Without having to worry about karma.
But without an edit button, I'm a little bit weary.

#karmaworryThe problem with making a comment on reddit to a thread is that your comment, when good intentioned, can get downvotes. Now, maybe if subreddit admins could limit downvotes to like zero or minus 1, or even remove downvoting altogether, that'd be interesting.
But like, today I made a comment on a thread of chrome extensions. And it was a good extension. I also made a post somewhere. While the post was upvoted a few upvotes, the comment was at zero. Not negative luckily, but it still felt so like "why would this affect my karma in a negative way".

If these types of devices were powered by usbc and the tvs had proper usbc power delivery ports to power these types of devices, then it’d be quite innovative. However, as it stands, you’d have to like plug it into the wall and then people are like…”what are you doing” as opposed to just being able to plug it into the tv which is more legit.

draft - neowin and the inability to edit comments
eh. i thought neowin was a good forum for like, yaknow, to be my antithesis of like, reddit in terms of how everytime on you make a comment on reddit, you kinda have to be thinking, "will this be able to not go into negative territory" in terms of karma. and so, i thought that it was good. and its ok. the issue is that, we can't edit our comments. so that's sort of ... sad. i searched the forums for the word edit and found this:

"There is a time limit for edits, after which they can no longer be edited."
so then, neowin would not really be something i'd want to be using as, i prefer the ability to have forever editing for my digital footprint.

Has anyone else who has the GEICO drive easy thing noticed that the app takes forever to load your score? It's become a 10 minute process. First it fails to load. Then try again a few times. Finally at around the 10 minute mark or so, it will take about a minute and finally load. Kinda frustrating. GEICO, can you please fix this and make it faster? Thanks.
