Microsoft teams chat is a lot better than WhatsApp.

For one, teams chat works across all your devices and user setups.

Whatsapp can't handle multiple devices and single devices with one person and two user setups. With Whatsapp, you get one main device and a couple linked devices. But it doesn't work on a single device where one user has multiple profiles. And if you login to it on another device without linking it from the main device and forget to backup your data, you lose all your chat history.

Microsoft teams doesn't have these issues.

Can we get an option for the voice record voice message function to be just tap once to record? The "hold button to record" function may not work well across all devices whereas a tap once function may work better.

One thing, with voice messages, maybe after we long press to record, maybe it should stay recording until we tap the button again so that we don't have to hold it down manually.

and just to clarify:
i pinned a message in a specific conversation. and so, i figured, when i goto view that specific conversation in the android app, the pinned message would be "pinned". i mean, i can see the message because its a relatively new message but...like in the web app, the message is "pinned" to the top of the chat, so i expected similar behavior in the android app

Is there any way to pin messages in the android app? i don't see that capability. am i missing something or is it only on the web app or?
