can the issues with schedule send be fixed?

on the android app, when i long press the send button, a nice menu saying "schedule send" pops up, and we can supposedly choose the date and time we want the message sent. however, when trying to send a message it doesn't work.

does it support same day delayed send? what am i missing

i pinned a message in a specific conversation. and so, i figured, when i goto view that specific conversation in the android app, the pinned message would be "pinned". i mean, i can see the message because its a relatively new message but...like in the web app, the message is "pinned" to the top of the chat, so i expected similar behavior in the android app

Also:

Is there any way to pin messages in the android app? i don't see that capability. am i missing something or is it only on the web app or?
