Am I the only one who dislikes #voicemessage (s)? 🤔
I feel like having to make a special effort to find the time and space to listen to them, while the person sending them often makes little effort to convey anything in a timely manner. 😅

https://community.signalusers.org/t/ability-to-block-disallow-voice-messages/27347 is not solved - while there surely are many, many things Signal team is working on, perhaps we can raise the possibility of a toggle to stop incoming menace :)

microsoft - thank you for Microsoft teams chat.

Can we get an option for the voice record voice message function to be just tap once to record? The "hold button to record" function may not work well across all devices whereas a tap once function may work better.

Microsoft, thank you for Microsoft teams. For sending voice messages, can we get an option to let us tap once to record instead of holding down the button, which is in the corner of the screen so its pretty finicky and won't let me hold it down for some reason. if you need to make it 30 seconds max, that's fine, just let us press once to record please. Thank you.

draft - Google chat, thanks for being a reliable cloud messenger with indefinite editing of text messages. Can you also add indefinite editing of image and video attachments? Sometimes we maybe want to send a "silent" picture message which is accomplished by editing a message instead of sending a new one in texts, but we can't currently attach images to previous messages. Can you please add that capability? Thank you.

@tootapp Have you considered adding the functionality of voice messages in the toot app? I have a case right now where I would like to answer with a voice message (first time) #voicemessage
