draft - neowin and the inability to edit comments

eh. i thought neowin was a good forum for like, yaknow, to be my antithesis of like, reddit in terms of how everytime on you make a comment on reddit, you kinda have to be thinking, "will this be able to not go into negative territory" in terms of karma. and so, i thought that it was good. and its ok. the issue is that, we can't edit our comments. so that's sort of ... sad. i searched the forums for the word edit and found this:

"There is a time limit for edits, after which they can no longer be edited."

so then, neowin would not really be something i'd want to be using as, i prefer the ability to have forever editing for my digital footprint.

#alternativestoreddit - although i hesitate to put this hashtag, as, due to the inability to edit one's comments, this is sort of *not* exactly an alternative to reddit. macrumors seems to be more of the alternative for now maybe
