ok i think i may have figured out my solution to the issue of having two umbrella accounts and not wanting to mix data between them, but still being able to login to my userA umbrella account when i'm logged into userB on android/chromeOS.
the Opera Browser android app on google play
it seems pretty legit, and it seems kinda desktop-y. so, i just signed into my userA google account while logged into my userB google account user setup on my chromebook. I just closed it for a second but i'm gonna try to open it up now and see if i can do what i had done when i was using the linux version of chrome which had better data segregation / separation from the rest of chromeOS in terms of google accounts.

why do people act like setting up multiple users on an android phone is such a big deal? once you get it set up the first time, it's very easy to manage. works great for anyone who has a userA + userB setup

the reason i don't like samsung is because the deliberately destroyed / removed the multiple users function that's built into android. if they had that, i'd be cool with them.

draft - i'm downloading the android 15 beta 3 onto my pixel 8 and my pixel 6a. looking forward to trying out private space. i kinda wanna go back to google chat, but i have been doing microsoft teams, partly because i have a multiple users setup and so, when i log into one user, i avoid logging into another user to avoid cross account data leakage, so private space should help to alleviate the issue where, when i'm logged into the userB, i can use private space to access google services from userA, while still staying in the userB space, keeping the data between the users separate.

#ios18Guys calm down. i'm not talking about multiple people. when i say multiple users i'm talking about using for one person. which is weird, maybe they need to rename it or something. to better market it's functionality because yes, while on like a tablet and such calling it multiple users makes more sense, for a tablet but also on a phone, maybe they should just call it like "spaces" or "separated spaces" or "separate spaces" to convey that, one single user may want to use the functionality "separated spaces" whereby it would do everything that multiple users does, but just call it / brand it a little different so that individual users will take notice more. ya gotta sell it a bit so that its used so that people appreciate it right?

Google should make/design a new SSO (single sign on) system that isn't tied specifically to Google services

Me: because it's annoying that when I log in to Google chat, maybe I don't want that same account tied to Google photos potentially mixing data I don't want mixed.
