  6. Too far, #Microsoft. You know #AI doesn't have to go into every single little thing, don't you? No?

Remember #WordPad that you just killed off? That would have been the place for experimenting with this nonsense. Not #Notepad, where simplicity and speed was its USP!

  11. During dark and uncertain times such as ours, where we - not unjustly - focus a lot on the bad things going on, sometimes there needs to be a reminder of the beauty that humanity can create. That's what this video did for me. vm.tiktok.com/ZGdLQTc7M/

  12. When did #vinyl prices in #HMV go up? The old 2 for £40 / 3 for £55 deals were about reasonable. The new 2 for £50 / 3 for £66 is not. A big jump that pushes me back to used, single album purchases, online shops, or cheaper digital. Smells of greed in a resurgent market.

  13. My first play of the new album from #NerinaPallot right now, which makes it a good day! Looking forward to the #vinyl in a couple of weeks - maybe hopefully I'll have the HiFi fixed by then, which would be nice!

  14. On active travel, it looks like an extra £100m for the financial year - so, scraping behind the sofa for money for walking, wheeling, and cycling. Great, thanks(!)

  15. And rail fares are going up by more than inflation again too, also in the context of the bus fare cap rise, while drivers receive another long-standing fuel duty freeze.

So, no effort to remove car dependency and encourage more sustainable transport choices.

  16. Continuing the fuel duty freeze *again* at a cost of £3bn while increasing the bus fair cap by 50% ... that shows the government's transport priorities then, and the car wins. Again. Screw everyone who can't, can't afford to, or does not want to drive.

  17. This junction is dangerous. Everyone knows it, and nothing is done. The longer #NationalHighways dithers on infrastructure improvements, the more culpable they must be for injuries, deaths, and damage. Terrifying to think I've cycled this junction.

  18. ICYMI: Part of #Warwickshire_CC’s separated cycling scheme for the A47 in #Nuneaton has been formally abandoned after concerns about the reallocation of road space and a lack of support from some councillors and a former MP.
