#WarwickshireCountyCouncil Road Safety Education and Active Travel posted this with the opening line "safe routes to school". Half a thought would say how inappropriate this is with that caption: no footpath, 30mph rural road; asking drivers to behave, others to dress-up. That's not good enough.

Excuse the FB link, but this is a picture of the Gipsy Lane rebuild for a new housing development in #Nuneaton. If this is shared-use, how is that in any way acceptable from #Bellway Homes and #Warwickshire_CC, locking in substandard "infrastructure" for years?

Long Shoot Cycle Scheme: Seven months ago, #Warwickshire_CC told me that legal orders/notices should be advertised in the spring, but I've not seen anything. Has the timetable slipped again? I've asked new questions so hopefully we'll find out!

It's been over a year since #WarwickshireCountyCouncil last gave an update on the #A47 #LongShoot Cycle Scheme in #Nuneaton, with the project subject to delays. Now, the Council has provided further comment on progress in response to a new request for information.
