  12. Perhaps 160 characters was better than 300 (or 2000 or whatever) for social media posts, more people get the chance to read a post to the end before forgetting the part in the front.

Maybe this is one of the reasons people think LLMs are “amazing”?

LLMs base their generated response on ALL of the input (post, email, etc.); meanwhile many humans only read half of it and imagine another, non-existing half and then write their response.

  18. For those holding their noses to vote around the world right now, the key is that whatever happens in the elections, voting just isn't enough. If your candidate is the best of the worst, then voting for them (while sort of comprehensible) just enable them too.

The work is to get rid of fascism enabling centrists so that we never have to have the chat again about why it's absolutely fine not to vote for them - ever again.

If your candidate is any of anti-trans; bought by corporates; pro-oil/fosil fuels; pro-war/military; pro-gencoide; confused about homosexual rights then voting for them is deeply problematic.

So do what you have to do of course. But that can't be the end. That really does need to be the start & those candidates then need to hear from you. In a very big way, to know that large numbers only voted for them because they had a very serious peg on their nose and that *it will never happen again*. They need to shift (no chance of course) or they MUST be gone next time.

Keep only what helps you do the job, so health and home life stay out. Write opinions rather than verdicts, so a read stays revisable. Prune, because a stale read you'd no longer stand behind is a liability. And in some places, the EU and UK included, people can have a legal right to read what you wrote about them, opinions included.
