This watch is known as the "Casio Royale" (word play on the use of a similar-looking Seiko watch in a James Bond movie); it's really cheap ($25-$45 or so) and has pretty sizable modding scene with all sorts of customizations, including real metal base, LCD backgrounds (colors), new bezels, watch bands, etc.
Also nice is that it's larger than many other Casio digital watches, so it's easier to read for old farts like me.

It sounds unbelievable but this is literally what’s happening.
I’m not going to compare this with other atrocities in history because each of those is horrible by itself but the scale of this is up there with the worst.
