  6. After one week in the region of #Bern we decided to pedal on, before falling back into the burning hamsterwheel 😅

Yess, the jurney goes on 🥳
Guess where we are going to ride 🚵‍♀️ 🚵

The first day our son Severin joined us through the #Gürbetal and along the lake #Thun until #Spiez.
Amazed by the stunning mountain view (Gantrisch, Stockhorn, #Niesen) and refreshed from a swim in the lake we pedaled towards #Interlaken.

We were surprised the next morning when fishermen came very early to throw there fishing rod into the water. After another one and half day of pedaling and a night out in the wild we reached... 16. I took a sideline off the AT up to Anthony’s Nose, which is a gorgeous overlook of the Hudson and the Bear Mountain Bridge. You can get to the AN trailhead from the #MNR so there were tons of people at the summit. Not exactly what I was looking for, but still a great afternoon #hike.

  22. > Just a city boy
    Go on…

    > Born and raised in South Detroit
    Canada?

    > He took the midnight train going anywhere
OK, let me stop you there.

In 1981, the only station in Windsor, Ontario was the terminus of the line to Toronto. I’m sure one can have a good time in Toronto, but it’s an intercity route. There’s no “midnight train”; arriving in Toronto at 4:30am is unlikely to be economically viable. _Maybe_ he crossed the border into Detroit — US/Canada immigration was a lot more lax 40+ years ago — where there _might_ have been a wider choice of late-night rail services…but frankly this seems a bit too spontaneous for our so-called city boy and his heavily implied ennui.

You’d have hoped a band called would have done their research. Don’t stop believing, indeed.
