fucking huge desert centipede scared the absolute piss out of me today. went to refill my bearded dragon's water bowl to see this creature underneath, jazz handing all over the place at mach speed. managed to get it into a container.
looks like it got my bearded dragon, though - I was wondering why he was so lethargic yesterday, I hope he is ok. I have a huge appreciation for all arthropods but this got my heart racing faster than anything. #centipedes

Checkered whiptail lizard (Aspidoscelis tesselata) from my front yard. Never seen this particular species in the yard before, but they're common in the desert. One of the larger whiptails, it's an all-female species, amazingly. #lizards #herpetology #NewMexico #whiptail

Some of my pokemon plush collection of cubone, one of my favorites. I'm not a serious collector just a casual one. Most of my faves are from gen 1/2 and cubone has been a long time favorite - creatures with skull/bone motifs are *chef's kiss*. The large sleeping plush released relatively recently and it's my fave of this lot :blobaww: #pokemon #cubone #plush #PokemonCollectors #figures
