＜しじみの藤棚・大阪天満宮＞フォーローしている方々から藤の花の写真を多数見かける季節になりました。「藤の花」で思い出したことを書いておきます。
天神祭（7月24・25日）が行われる頃、大阪天満宮に訪れるとお迎え人形が飾られていました。その側にシジミ貝をたくさんつけた紐が複数ぶら下がっていました。そこには「しじみの藤棚」と書かれていました。
藤、藤棚とシジミ貝の関連が判らなかったので関係者の方にたずねたところ、シジミ貝の内側が紫色なのでそれを藤の花にみたてて藤棚を作っていると教えてもらいました。それ以上の事は尋ねなかったのですが、昔から行われている行事のようです。天神祭（藤原道真）と藤の関係は判りません。
写真は2016年7月24日に撮影したものです。
