Fiddleheads are delicious when sauteed with onions, mushrooms and garlic. We have quite a few ferns and I pick a few fiddleheads to eat, when they emerge late spring/early summer.

Early this morning I moved many of my potted vegetable and flower plants into shady areas.

The #sunflowers are up, and the #lilies are still hanging on!

I'm not sure what happened to these #sunflowers in my back yard. They look all ragged, like something has been eating them.
Good for whatever critter found a meal I suppose, but not so good for the flowers...
