You can take a tomato that's starting to grow sprouts inside it, plant it in some soil, and it will grow another tomato plant and it doesn't matter if the season is ending, you can even bring it indoors if frost is an issue. TIL.
Feeling very inspired but need to dig deeper to confirm. (I don't know anything about gardening, really.)
I guess this is similar to what people do with potatoes but if anyone has some pointers or input, I'd love to hear it.
