Pro tip: you can label those messages with #unreadmail2025 to easily find them later if needed.

Ich kann jetzt in #n8n mit #jmap (ein IETF-Standard!) meine E-Mails bei @fastmail abholen und als To-do mit Betreff und Direktlink zum E‑Mail in #Todoist abspeichern. Unnötig? Möglicherweise. Ich kann jetzt jedenfalls des #ZeroInbox willen, einplanen, wann ich mich um welche E-Mails kümmere.

Note to myself and everyone else who is having tons of emails everyday: there is an "easy" strategy to get control back of your emails. Most of you know the #zeroinbox approach. I am using that one as well, but sometimes having dozens or hundreds new messages pushes me far away from zero messages. What I do then is every day I set a goal for reducing the messages by something doable (like from 250 down to 200, next day 200 to 180, then 180 to 150, etc...).

Closest I get to zero inbox.

@rolle A combination of Outlook (dragging emails to the calendar or creating timeblocks for work stuff)/Apple calendar and iOS reminders (for shorter activities or personal things that need to be remembered on a repeating basis). I read Getting Things Done many years ago and follow a variation of those ideas in my process. Mostly #ZeroInbox so that there is a consistency of how things are managed or processed.

ça c'est une boite mail qui me plaît, avec les infos importantes stockées dans mes archives, en dehors du fournisseur d'emails, pas dans la boite mail.

n'oubliez jamais, votre boite mail ne doit jamais être votre gestionnaire de tâches, c'est vraiment une pratique merdique très répandue.
