I will soon join the ranks of #HamRadio #operators with #portable #hfradio setups. I have a #x6200 on the way for the (hopefully) full summer season of #POTA #ParksOnTheAir and May be a few #SOTA #SummitsOnTheAir

@w8emv Not yet, work went nuts for a couple weeks. But the #x6200 did get used for a few contacts at #arrlfd and has made #13colonies contacts this week from my QTH.

So far early reports have uncovered lots of small issues, many of which sound to my ear like they could be fixed in firmware, but collectively sounding pretty awkward.

alas the groups.io list has 100 members already so it's closed to new members (until it gets a paid subscription, I guess) and the archives are also closed so it's not really a source of information.
