Es kommt bei mir seltenst vor, dass ich im Morgengrauen oder in der Abenddämmerung draußen bin.
Umso mehr bin ich davon angetan, wenn diese Ausnahmen wie diese Woche auftreten. So viele Vögel hört man am Tage nicht. Ich nutze seit einiger Zeit bei Gelegenheit #whobird und bilde mir ein, mittlerweile einige Vogelstimmen außer der Amsel mehr ohne App zu erkennen.
Nutzt mal die Zeit und geht mit der App spazieren!

Esta app #whoBIRD é fantástica. Para curiosos, mas especialmente para os amantes de #aves selvagens :birdroll:
Deixei de a usar durante algum tempo porque o GPS do meu velho telemóvel deixou de funcionar, mas a última versão já permite introduzir manual/ a localização. Ontem, identificou uma espécie que nunca vi por aqui. Com grau de probabilidade que me chega para me levar ao sítio novamente e tirar a coisa a limpo🕵️♀️Acho que só está disponível no @fdroidorg

Now that I have finally replaced my old zenfone with a pixel I could move to #grapheneos. I took the opportunity to review my previous app choices. Found some great privacy respecting apps:
- #cirrus for weather forecasts (replacing Klara)
- #heliboard for keyboard (gosh look at Swiftkey privacy policy)
- #comaps for mapping (together with #andosm for more advanced usage)
- #whobird for bird sound ID
- #localsend for quick p2p file transfers
- #converternow for unit and currency conversion -

Vor einiger Zeit habe ich mir die Vogelstimmen-App #whoBIRD bei #FDroid (@fdroidorg) runtergeladen.
Heute habe ich es geschafft, damit auf dem Ostfriedhof in #Gera erst einen Kleiber, dann einen Kolkraben zu identifizieren. Den Raben habe ich dann auch noch wegfliegen (oder besser: majestätisch wegschweben sehen).
Ich glaube, ich hatte noch nie zuvor einen Kolkraben bewusst als Kolkraben wahrgenommen. Durchaus eine Horizonterweiterung, nicht nur für mich als Quizzer!

Según WhoBird (https://github.com/woheller69/whobird) estos son algunos de los pájaros que habitan mis alrededores. Considerando que estoy lejos de la zona arbolada, estimo que el reconocimiento es bastante acertado.

@thomy2000 I've just tried it with some of Portugal's rarer species and I was impressed by how effective it was at finding the species. And it's wonderful that #whoBIRD it's a free and open source app.
